Recruitment Scams and Phishing

Protecting Against Recruitment Scams and Phishing Attempts

Scam and phishing attempts targeting job seekers have become increasingly common.

We have recently been made aware of attempts to target candidates by falsely claiming they have received job offers from us. Please note that the only legitimate channels to apply for positions at our company and contact our team are:

  • Our official career website.

  • Job ads posted on select platforms (LinkedIn, Pracuj.pl, etc., which are connected to our employer profile on those sites).

  • Direct contact with our Talent Acquisition Team members, who are our verified employees on LinkedIn. Their profile should be linked to our official LinkedIn site.

Examples

Fraudsters may use domains that resemble ours. They can also use email addresses that mimic the names, brands, or domains of existing companies or recruitment agencies or try to impersonate Recruiters or HR employees of those companies.

To help recognize these scams, we are providing some examples below.

1/5

Look for signs such as unsolicited job offers, personal or financial information requests, and communication from non-company email addresses.

All official communication from our recruitment team will come from our domain email addresses (@rtbhouse.com). We use Google Meet exclusively for video calls - we do not use Skype, Signal, Teams, WhatsApp, etc. Genuine communication will always be professional, and we will never ask for sensitive information upfront.

What to do if you’re unsure?
